Gothic 3 Tones Circle Lens Review

Hello gorgeous readers, today I'm back with another circle lens review called Gothic 3 Tones 14.5 mm in color Hazel. Firstly, I'm sorry for not updating this blog for 2 months because I'm being attacked back by Lupus, so I'm battling again with my own antibodies, yes they aren't being nice to me lately haha. Okay we should skip that tragedy story, now let me continue with this circle lens review.

The Gothic 3 Tones series comes in many color choices like violet, brown, honey, blue, green, turquoise and this very hazel color. I decided to try on hazel for something in between natural and getting attention kind of look :) I think this hazel color is unique because it looks like like a greenish kind of brown lens. My natural eye color is black/dark brown. You could check out my original eye color here. The lens has 14.5 mm in diameter and to me this lens is not as comfortable as the previously I had reviewed from Puffy 3 Tones series. But still I can wear this circle lens without having any eye irritation or teary eye so that's good enough for me.
Peeling.

The Lens :)

The Look =)

I hope this review is helpful to someone who is interested to get the Gothic 3 Tones Series. Personally I love this hazel lens and I hope to be able to update more while I'm recovering from sickness. I hope you guys will take a good care of your health and I love you all.

My Beauty Diary Arbutin Whitening Mask Review

My Beauty Diary is like a queen of Asian face mask, well at least that's what I'm thinking of :) There are many choices and some might sound weird like Earl Grey Tea and Macaron mask? I though that is so creative to come out with food inspired skincare idea. My all time favorite from My Beauty Diary is Arbutin Whitening Mask for fresh white and luminous skin.

Skincare Routine featuring SKIN & LAB

Hello everyone, today I want to share with you my skincare routine from SKIN & LAB. I have been using these basic products for over 5 months and I really like to use this range everyday because my skin is not drying anymore and feels smoother. Just a quick info, SKIN & LAB is a Korean skincare brand with the research concept behind the products.

I use this facial cleanser every morning and evening. I only use a small amount of product and mix with water to form a bubble foam, then lather onto face in circular motion. I use a bit more than usual when I wanted to clean off some makeup residue from my face. It does clean my face thoroughly and leave a smoother face. The cleanser requires lukewarm water to rinse it off the face. The cleanser smells like grapefruit and refreshing. It contains all the vitamins, Vitamin A, B, C, E and K, just like from the Vitamin Creams range. It helps for mild exfoliation and sebum control. Even this cleanser is meant to get rid of excess oil from pores, surprisingly it does not take away moisture from my dry-combination skin :) I read from the website it contains macadamia seed oil, coconut extract, ceramide and lecithin to balance the moisture of the skin. This cleanser is suitable for all skin types. The content is 120mL and I still have more than a quarter of tube to finish after 5 months because small amount is enough for every use, so it is a kind of bargain. It also suitable for sensitive skin because the product is gentle enough on skin.

Always Vita Foam Cleanser

Speaking of smart design, this is the star of toner product I have ever use! Unlike other toner which comes in pour kind of bottle and screaming out for spillage incident to happen any time. This toner comes in this easy to travel with pump design, but this is not in a travel size volume, it is has 130mL of content. I still have more content to use and I use this after the Always Vita Foam cleanser. This toner is multi purpose which can also be used as face mist during hot weather, tired working hours, too much exposure to air-conditioning place. I love to spray the toner onto my face and pat my face to allow the product to absorb into my skin before I proceed with moisturizer. The toner is easy to absorb and it helps for the moisturizer to absorb more efficient as well. You could also spray onto cotton pad and apply just like a regular toner. The toner contains all vitamins too and other beneficial ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen, beteine and blackcurrant. This toner helps my skin to get ready for moisturizer and makeup application. It helps to control oil and revitalize skin due to stress and sun exposure.

Vita Energy Toner & Mist

After I have applied the toner, I usually apply the moisturizer and Vitamin C cream during night time only. You could also mix the two together and apply onto the face as suggested by the brand. But somehow I prefer to apply the products separately, just my preference. Read my review on Vitamin C Plus Brightening Cream here and Hawaii Deep-Sea Deep Moisture here.

SKIN&LAB Skincare Range

Brand: SKIN & LAB

Origin: Made in Korea

Availability: Hava Beauty Care

I love the fact that these products are packed with vitamins content and other ingredients which are great for skin. I found that Vita Energy Toner & Mist is very smart packaging toner that I also like to use as face mist. So far, the visible result I have noticed is this skincare range helps my skin to retain the right moisture balance which is the major problem with dry-combination skin. All the Vitamin creams range and moisturizers are fast absorbing and smells so good! The only drawback I feel from using this skincare range is, I do not see the brightening effect that I was hoping for and it is a fact that skincare product effect may varies among persons who use it. If you are interested to get SKIN & LAB skincare products, please visit and like Hava Beauty Care Facebook Page for updates and promotions. I hope this review is helpful and thank you for reading this post. Have a great weekend everyone!

NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone Review & Swatches (Pictures Heavy)

Eyeshadow primer or base is a life saver for those underperforming eyeshadows especially for the matte ones. Applying matte eyeshadows could be tricking as problems with being chalky or too powdery and more fallout, sigh. Eventually I'd end up with almost none product on the eyelid even when I keep adding more. So I decided to get an eyeshadow primer or base. There are many great high end eyeshadow primers out there but of course great thing comes on the pricey side. I wanted an affordable product and works on me at the same time. Finally I decided to try on NYX Eyeshadow Base because the price tag is reasonable but how about the performance?

NYX Eyeshadow Base comes in a small plastic pot container similar to Maybelline Color Tattoo pots but the only difference is Color Tattoo container is made of glass, correct me if I'm wrong because I don't own any Color Tattoo yet :3

This product is small enough to fit into my handbag and since the container is made from plastic, I found that it's travel-friendly too if you happened to bring one along your trip. The packaging is very straight forward, just open the white lid and take the product with your ring finger to apply onto eyelid.

There are 3 choices of base color which are White, White Pearl and Skin Tone. The White version is to give a super vibrant pigmentation to eyeshadow, I'd guess it does similar job to its sister Milk Jumbo Eye Pencil. The White Pearl is suppose to give a metallic finish to the eyeshadow and the Skin Tone is a neutral base, pretty much for all eyeshadows. This base helps to intensify the eyeshadow and preventing creasing throughout the day.

The texture of this base is creamy, smooth and very easy to blend out even with finger. I got Skin Tone base for everyday use and it still has the power to bring out the eyeshadow potential to pop more color than in its original state. Skin Tone is a beige with peachy undertone color and it suits my medium skin tone perfectly. I usually apply the base all over my eyelid and blend it out until it becomes transparent, then start to apply eyeshadows with brushes.

As the product matches my skin tone so well,  it looks transparent on my eyelid but I doubt it would look ashy on darker skin tone. I think this Skin Tone base is still workable for all skin tones and way better to use for a neutral look rather than using a harsh looking white base. Even though I mention it looks transparent on my skin, well I can't say it has a sheer finish because it's very opaque when I swatch directly onto skin without blending it out. I wore this base together with my eyeshadows and there was no creasing going on my eyelids for 6-7 hours. I have non oily eyelids but I do experience minimal creasing due to hot and humid weather here without eyeshadow base.

It helps my eyeshadows to be more vibrant especially matte eyeshadows. I had done a swatches comparisons on some of stubborn matte eyeshadows that won't show up well without a primer or base. Scroll down to see the amazing result from wearing this base!

Texture is creamy, smooth, opaque and goes on transparent with blending on medium skin tone.

The color of product is beige with peachy undertone.

This picture doesn't do justice to the actual product shade.

I love to swatch my eyeshadows over NYX Eyeshadow Base.

It's very fun to see a big difference of this base could do to the weak eyeshadows :)

Can you guess?

Answer will be at the end of this post :)

Here are some swatches comparison of matte eyeshadows over the NYX eyeshadow base.

Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone

The base shade matches my medium skin tone perfectly.

It does what it says, intensify the eyeshadows even the powdery, the chalky, the weak ones.

The eyeshadow stays on vibrantly with this base.

It helps to prevent creasing up to 7 hours on my non oily eyelids.

The product is creamy, smooth and opaque.

It's very easy to blend out the product even with finger.

The container is small, easy to carry around.

The product price is reasonable.

The amount of product would last me a long time as small amount is needed every time.

I have nothing against this product. I like everything about this base :)

I just don't like the shipping charge on getting this product.

You're looking for a cheaper eyeshadow base or primer alternative that really does the job.

You want a eyeshadow base to intensify eyeshadow colors and helps to stay longer.

You want a neutral color eyeshadow base.

You think it's not hygienic to take the product using finger.

It might appear ashy on dark skin tone.

You have the same rant over international shipping charge.

I love everything about this product, the only reason I don't like is the shipping charge on getting this all the way from States. The shipping charge costs way more than this eyeshadow base itself, no kidding. Luckily this base does an excellent job to intensify and it helps my eyeshadows to stay on longer than without it. So far I love this base and I don't find any reason to try on other brands. I highly recommend on this eyeshadow base for awesome quality and price! Hope this review is helpful and let me know your favorite eyeshadow base or primer.

* Price excludes international shipping charge.

Answer: The right side of my eye had the NYX eyeshadow base prior to eyeshadow application. I'm sure all of you got this right! Congratulation :)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes Review

Facial wipes or wet wipes are my favorite items to remove makeup because it is simple to use especially when I feel really sleepy or super lazy to pamper myself with longer makeup removal steps. And so using the wipes is the best thing to get rid of those makeup without using greasy product like baby oil which I don't really like to put on my face. Simple facial wipes are highly raved by many users because it contains no harmful ingredients, so this would be good for everyday use.
